“Bringing a brand abroad takes time, patience, lots of adjustments and rethinking of your strategy. We were prepared for getting a lot of “nos” in the beginning (for a few years in fact!) and our hope was very low.
When we started out with BLANC, we were amazed and surprised with all the positive feedback we received from buyers and things started rolling, much earlier than we thought. Everything spiraled upwards very quickly for us, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to join BLANC. But, that is only one side of the story.
We didn’t have the ‘international knowledge’, if I may say so, to do everything ourselves. Our company is not very large in scale right now. We don’t have an area to look after exports, nor do we have the human resource to take care of it currently. Having BLANC acting beside us gave us a big push. Things that seemed to require a mountain of labor started becoming possible for us. Our collections are available 24 hours, 7 days a week to international buyers. We don’t need designers for linesheets. Buyers can download linesheets, order and add our products quickly to their product mix. Remember, we don’t have legal resources or a department for handling customs either. BLANC manages all for us. We are now able to work on other things to accelerate our growth like design of new collections, design of products that appeal better to customers in each market, how to strength our relationship with existing buyers, which events are good for our business, how to present ourselves in a showroom. And, the platform allow us to understand manage international orders, how we are performing outside of Brazil, and products that appeal better to customers in each market. And all of this is also enabled for us by BLANC with absolute ease. Starting out, we wouldn’t know how to bring all these things in motion. With BLANC and the ease with which the platform works, we were able to smoothen our operations and even make things happen faster.”

You either need a lot of resources, both financial and physical, or you will have to stay in your local market and wait for exponential growth which is next to impossible”.
